  • 3/4 cup (160 grams) cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup (30 grams) grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) pasta cooking water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of cooking water before draining.
  2. In a skillet over low heat, warm olive oil and sauté minced garlic for 2–3 minutes without burning.
  3. Stir in cream cheese and 1/2 cup reserved pasta water until smooth; add grated parmesan until melted.
  4. Toss drained pasta into the skillet, mixing until evenly coated. Adjust consistency with more reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Serve immediately with olive oil drizzle and additional parmesan.
