  • 30 oz marshmallows (divided)
  • 18 cups puffed rice cereal (divided)
  • 9 oz unsalted butter (divided)
  • Red food coloring
  • Blue food coloring

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Melt 3 oz butter in a saucepan; add 10 oz marshmallows and red food coloring until smooth.
  3. Mix in 6 cups puffed rice cereal; press into the prepared dish.
  4. Repeat with white layer (3 oz butter + 10 oz marshmallows) over red layer.
  5. For blue layer, melt another 3 oz butter; mix in 10 oz marshmallows and blue food coloring.
  6. Combine with remaining puffed rice cereal; spread over the white layer.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
