  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey or chili-infused honey
  • Spices: salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk (and optional hot sauce) for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare breading by mixing flour with spices in one shallow dish and placing panko breadcrumbs in another.
  3. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture, dip back into buttermilk, then coat with panko.
