  • 6 strips bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 (28 oz) cans original baked beans (un-drained)
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and let drain on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté diced onions in remaining bacon fat until translucent. Drain on paper towels.
