Ingredients
- 6 strips bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 (28 oz) cans original baked beans (un-drained)
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Cook the chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and let drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, sauté diced onions in remaining bacon fat until translucent. Drain on paper towels.
- In a mixing bowl, combine baked beans, cooked bacon, sautéed onions, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and Dijon mustard; mix well.
- Pour into the baking dish and bake uncovered for 1 hour, stirring halfway through.
