- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 teaspoons jerk seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, cilantro, jerk seasoning, salt, black pepper, and minced garlic. Mix gently until just combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F / 70°C).
- In a separate bowl, toss the baked meatballs with BBQ sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice for a satisfying meal.
