- 3 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
- In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Create a well in the center and add milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Gently mix until just combined; lumps are okay.
- Heat a non-stick griddle over medium-high heat and grease it lightly.
- Pour ¼ cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface (about 2 minutes), then flip and cook for another minute.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
