- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually combine dry ingredients into wet mixture, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill dough covered for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the cheesecake filling by blending cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth; add milk and blend until creamy.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop chilled dough, flatten it slightly, place a teaspoon of cheesecake filling in the center, fold dough around it to seal, then roll into a ball.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
