  • ¼ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter with 1¼ cups of blueberries over low heat. Stir in mini chocolate chips until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract. Gradually mix in a spoonful of the melted blueberry mixture.
  4. Combine the egg mixture back into the saucepan with the blueberry mixture and mix well.
  5. Add cocoa powder, flour, and salt; stir gently until just combined.
  6. Top the batter with reserved blueberries.
  7. Bake for 25-35 minutes; a toothpick should come out with minimal crumbs for a fudgy center.
