- 8 sheets of phyllo dough
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 8 ounces feta cheese (crumbled)
- 1 cup fresh spinach (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 beaten egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer four sheets of phyllo dough, brushing each with melted butter.
- Cut the stacked phyllo into strips about 3 inches wide.
- In a bowl, mix feta, spinach, dill, parsley, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon filling onto one end of each strip; fold into triangles until reaching the end and seal with egg wash.
- Bake on parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
