Ingredients
- 2 ciabatta rolls or focaccia bread
- 8 ounces burrata cheese
- 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the ciabatta rolls in half and place them cut side up on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the cut sides with extra virgin olive oil and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden.
- Layer each bottom half with sliced tomatoes, torn basil leaves, and generous pieces of burrata cheese.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the top half over the filling, press gently, then cut in half and serve warm.
