  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (plus more for mashed potatoes)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot; add Yukon gold potatoes and cook until fork-tender (15-20 minutes). Drain and return to pot.
