Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the marinated shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until pink and opaque. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fully cooked.
- Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside. Lower heat to medium; add butter to the same skillet until melted.
- Stir in minced garlic, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add lemon juice and paprika, stirring for another minute.
- Return shrimp to the skillet, tossing gently in the garlic butter sauce. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
