  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 2 tablespoons crushed candy canes (for garnish)
  • 1 cup vodka (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve cherry Jell-O in boiling water; stir until fully dissolved. Add cold water and peppermint extract, mixing well.
  2. Pour the mixture into shot glasses or plastic cups, filling halfway. Refrigerate for about 2 hours until firm.
  3. Once set, layer whipped cream on top of each shot glass.
  4. For an alcoholic version, mix any remaining Jell-O with vodka and pour over the whipped cream layer.
  5. Chill again for about an hour to allow the top layer to set.
  6. Garnish with crushed candy canes before serving.
