Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (16.3 ounces) refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown 1 pound of ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Drain excess fat.
- Add 1 cup of chopped onion and cook until softened. Stir in 1 cup of frozen mixed vegetables and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in 1 cup of beef broth, stir to combine, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut each biscuit from a can into quarters.
- Pour the beef mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish and top with biscuit pieces.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
