Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut chicken breasts into fry-shaped strips.
- In a shallow dish, mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Beat eggs in another shallow dish for the egg wash.
- Place panko breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.
- Coat each chicken strip in seasoned flour, dip in eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Place cheese on half the strips and seal with remaining strips.
- Heat oil in a skillet and fry chicken fries until golden brown (3-4 minutes per side).
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauces.
