Instructions
- Cook the chicken: Boil chicken breasts in water seasoned with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked. Shred with two forks.
- Make the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, and optional hot sauce until blended.
- Prepare the buns: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Hollow out the tops of each burger bun.
- Assemble: Spoon the cheesy filling into each bun and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake: Brush melted butter over the buns and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before garnishing with cilantro.
