- 4 slices Texas toast
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven and bake the Texas toast until golden and crisp (about 5 minutes).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and cook seasoned chicken until browned. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then stir in heavy cream. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with Italian seasoning.
- Return chicken to the sauce and stir to coat.
- Spoon the mixture over toasted Texas bread and garnish with parsley before serving.
