- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 4 pieces of naan or flatbread
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: Combine chicken thighs with vegetable oil, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, paprika, salt, cayenne pepper (if using), and minced garlic. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the chicken: Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked and charred. Let rest before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
- Prepare the garlic sauce: Mix heavy cream with lemon juice and a pinch of salt in a bowl until combined.
- Assemble the flatbreads: Warm naan in a skillet or oven. Spread garlic sauce on each piece and top with sliced chicken tikka. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
- Serve immediately.
