Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 medium Onion (diced)
- 14.5 oz. Diced Tomatoes (canned, undrained)
- 16 oz Elbow Macaroni
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese (shredded, divided)
- 2 Tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 1/2 cup Water
Instructions
- Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink; drain fat.
- Add diced tomatoes, water, and taco seasoning to the skillet; let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix cooked pasta into the meat mixture thoroughly.
- In a greased 13×9 inch baking pan, layer half of the mixture, sprinkle with one cup of cheddar cheese, and top with remaining mixture.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes; uncover, add remaining cheese, and bake for another 10 minutes until melted.
