  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounces white chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Press into the bottom and sides of a tart pan. Bake for 10 minutes; cool completely.
  2. Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering. Remove from heat and stir in semi-sweet chocolate until smooth. Add vanilla extract.
  3. Pour ganache into the cooled crust and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before refrigerating for at least 2 hours to set.
  4. Melt white chocolate in intervals until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag and pipe concentric circles on top of the tart; drag a toothpick from center to edge to create a spiderweb design.
  5. Chill until ready to serve.
