- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve some pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the fat in the skillet.
- Sauté minced garlic in the leftover bacon fat with butter until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer; add Parmesan until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss cooked spaghetti and bacon into the sauce, adjusting consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
