Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 large onion
- 1 large red bell pepper
- 1 large green bell pepper
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 slider buns
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken strips with salt, pepper, chili powder, and cumin. Cook until golden, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté sliced onions and bell peppers for 4-5 minutes; add garlic and cook one more minute.
- Lower heat and stir in heavy cream until simmering. Add shredded cheese and mix until melted.
- Return chicken to skillet; stir to coat with sauce and veggies. Heat through for 2-3 minutes.
- Assemble sliders by placing the chicken mixture on the bottom half of each bun and topping with the other half.
