Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 10 ounces penne pasta
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes
- Garlic
- Paprika
- Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, heat olive oil in a skillet, and cook until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic, then whisk in flour followed by chicken broth and cream until smooth.
- Stir in parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Simmer until thickened.
- Combine cooked chicken and pasta with the sauce. Garnish with fresh basil and additional cheese before serving.
