- 8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
- 1 pound Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil; brown and crumble the sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes in the same skillet until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add heavy cream; simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Combine cooked pasta and sausage into the sauce; toss well.
- Serve garnished with parsley and lime wedges.
