Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Dried basil
- Dried oregano
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions until softened; add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and heavy cream; add dried herbs and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top; cover and simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Serve garnished with fresh basil.
