Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Additional salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and parsley until combined. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs until browned on all sides (about 8-10 minutes). Set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté sliced mushrooms for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Sprinkle flour over mushrooms; stir for 1 minute. Gradually add chicken broth while stirring until smooth; bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce; season with salt and pepper. Return meatballs to the skillet and simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Serve warm over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
