Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan to 350°F.

- In another bowl, mix egg, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just combined; batter should be thick yet pourable.
- Transfer batter into a resealable bag or funnel cake dispenser.
- Carefully drizzle batter into the hot oil in overlapping circular patterns.
- Fry for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
