- 8 ounces penne or fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil, salt, pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and cook seasoned chicken until golden brown (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- Sauté garlic and herbs in the same skillet until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Stir in heavy cream; simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened. Add Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Combine chicken and pasta with the sauce; toss well to coat.
- Serve garnished with parsley and extra cheese if desired.
