- 4 center-cut pork chops
- Salt and pepper
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup beef broth (or more chicken broth)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Pound pork chops to an even thickness and season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Dredge the seasoned chops in flour and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chops until golden brown on both sides.
- Deglaze the skillet with white wine, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in butter and flour to create a roux, then slowly add chicken and beef broth along with heavy cream. Bring to a boil and simmer until thickened.
- Gradually stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted, then return pork chops to the skillet to coat in the sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
