Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 2 tablespoons harissa paste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 pieces of flatbread or pita bread
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 cup cucumber, diced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Marinate the diced chicken in harissa paste, olive oil, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the marinated chicken in a skillet over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked.
- In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, and minced garlic to create the sauce.
- Warm the flatbreads and spread with yogurt sauce. Top with cooked chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, and cilantro.
- Slice into wedges and serve immediately.
