Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked beef with potatoes, green beans, onion, broth, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, thyme, and paprika.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil and stir; bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Optional: Add cheese on top and return to oven until melted.
- Let sit before serving.
