  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or water
  • 1/4 cup milk (optional, for extra creaminess)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil, then add the ground beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes until the onion is soft.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the greased baking dish, layer with sliced potatoes, season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Top with cheddar and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Pour beef broth around the edges and optionally drizzle with milk for creaminess.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; then remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
