- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

- ½ cup cornstarch
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
- Zest of 1 orange
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
- Season shrimp with salt and pepper; coat with cornstarch in a large bowl.
- Dip each shrimp into beaten eggs to ensure even coating.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- In another saucepan, combine honey, orange juice, zest, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and ginger. Simmer until thickened (1-2 minutes).
- Serve immediately by tossing shrimp in the sauce or drizzling it over top.
