Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ cup finely chopped jalapeño peppers (seeds removed)
- 1 cup grated Pepper Jack cheese
- 1 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a sauté pan over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté chopped onion, jalapeños, and garlic until soft (about 5 minutes). Let cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled mixture with ground turkey, Pepper Jack cheese, salt, cumin, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into four evenly sized patties. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Preheat grill to high heat. Grill burgers until marked (about 4 minutes), flip and reduce heat to medium-low; cook until turkey is fully cooked (around 6 minutes).
