Ingredients
- 2 pounds frozen shredded hashbrowns, thawed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, beaten egg, and flour. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry patties in batches for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Place cooked patties on paper towels to drain excess oil before serving warm.
