Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried mint
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Zest of 1 lemon
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, mint, paprika, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and lemon zest. Mix until just combined.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Shape the mixture into small meatballs (about 1-inch in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides (about 5-7 minutes), then transfer them back to the baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
- Let cool slightly before serving warm with tzatziki sauce.
