  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (for the sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak with soy sauce and cornstarch for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente; drain.
  3. Stir-fry marinated beef in a hot skillet until browned; set aside.
  4. Sauté garlic and ginger in the same skillet, then add carrots and green onions until softened.
  5. Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil; pour over vegetables.
  6. Add beef and noodles back to the skillet; toss to combine and season to taste.
