- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 1 cup green onions, chopped
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup soy sauce (for the sauce)
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Marinate the flank steak with soy sauce and cornstarch for at least 15 minutes.
- Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente; drain.
- Stir-fry marinated beef in a hot skillet until browned; set aside.
- Sauté garlic and ginger in the same skillet, then add carrots and green onions until softened.
- Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil; pour over vegetables.
- Add beef and noodles back to the skillet; toss to combine and season to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
