- 4 medium potatoes (boiled and diced)
- 3 medium carrots (boiled and diced)
- 1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
- 4 large eggs (hard-boiled and chopped)
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast or ham (diced)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1 cup pickles (diced)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh dill for garnish
Instructions
- Boil potatoes and carrots until tender. Cool and dice.
- In a mixing bowl, combine potatoes, carrots, peas, chopped eggs, chicken or ham, onion, and pickles. Mix gently.
- In another bowl, whisk mayonnaise with salt and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and fold gently to coat.
- Shape the mixture into a wreath on a large plate or use a ring mold for precision.
- Garnish with fresh dill; chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
