- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 8 ounces wide egg noodles
- ½ cup sour cream
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and ground beef. Season with salt and pepper; cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion and mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Add garlic; cook for another 30 seconds.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture; stir to coat. Gradually add beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Simmer.
- Stir in egg noodles and cooked beef; cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until noodles are tender.
- Remove from heat and mix in sour cream until smooth.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
