- 15 Oreos (for crust)
- 2 ½ tablespoons melted butter
- 2 (8 oz) packages softened cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- ⅔ cup sugar
- ⅔ cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 12 chopped Oreos (for filling)
- Optional: chocolate ganache made with dark chocolate chips and heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a springform pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- Crush 15 Oreos and mix with melted butter; press into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 8–10 minutes.
- In a mixer, combine softened cream cheese, eggs, sugar, sour cream, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Fold in chopped Oreos.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust and bake in a water bath at 325°F for about 75 minutes.
- Allow to cool slowly in the oven for one hour before chilling in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight.
