Ingredients
- 4 chicken legs (drumsticks and thighs)
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional garnish: sesame seeds and chopped green onions
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Place chicken legs in a resealable bag or shallow dish; pour marinade over them. Ensure they are well coated, seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (overnight is best).
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove chicken from marinade and place on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 35-40 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and skin is golden brown.
- Let rest for a few minutes before garnishing with sesame seeds and green onions.
