  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 20 dumpling wrappers
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Water, for steaming

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, napa cabbage, green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  2. Place a dumpling wrapper on a clean surface and add 1 tablespoon of filling in the center. Moisten edges with water and fold to seal tightly.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add dumplings in a single layer and fry until golden brown (2-3 minutes).
  4. Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover immediately to steam for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
