- 1 family-size box brownie mix (plus ingredients specified on the package)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 ½ cups corn syrup
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecans (chopped or whole)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the brownie batter according to package instructions and pour it into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake the brownie base for 20 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and pecans.
- After baking the brownies, pour the pecan mixture evenly over the top.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 25–35 minutes until set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
- Allow cooling completely before slicing into squares.
