- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
- Mini chocolate chips (for eyes and nose)
- Large marshmallows (for the face)
- Decorative sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients to form a soft dough. Chill in plastic wrap for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll dough to ¼ inch thick and cut out bear shapes.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden; cool on a wire rack.
- Frost cooled cookies and decorate with marshmallows and chocolate chips.
