  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 8 slider rolls (or mini burger buns)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, dried Italian herbs, breadcrumbs, and egg until just mixed. Form into 12 meatballs.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet over medium heat, brown meatballs for 8–10 minutes.
  3. Cut slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish. Layer with marinara sauce, meatballs, more marinara sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  4. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese; brush over the sliders.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 15–20 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes until bubbly.
