- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 8 slider rolls (or mini burger buns)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, dried Italian herbs, breadcrumbs, and egg until just mixed. Form into 12 meatballs.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet over medium heat, brown meatballs for 8–10 minutes.
- Cut slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish. Layer with marinara sauce, meatballs, more marinara sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Mix melted butter with minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese; brush over the sliders.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15–20 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes until bubbly.
