- 2 cups chocolate hazelnut spread (like Nutella)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1 cup chocolate mousse (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup crushed hazelnuts
- 1 cup crushed chocolate wafer cookies
- Whole Rocher chocolates for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Use an electric mixer to whip until soft peaks form.
- In each dessert bowl, layer crushed chocolate wafer cookies followed by a layer of chocolate hazelnut spread. Drizzle with hazelnut liqueur if desired.
- Add a layer of chocolate mousse over the spread and smooth it out using a spatula.
- Top with a generous layer of whipped cream and smooth it nicely.
- Garnish with crushed hazelnuts and place a whole Rocher chocolate on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
