Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 ounces fresh salmon fillet, diced
- 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- All-purpose flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 2-inch squares.
- In a mixing bowl, combine salmon, goat cheese, dill, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each pastry square. Fold corners over to seal.
- Brush tops with beaten egg and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
