- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar

- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 1½ cups diced apples (about 2 medium apples)
- ½ cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Mix in vanilla extract and egg.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add to wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold diced apples into the dough evenly.
- Chill the dough in plastic wrap for 30 minutes to an hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop chilled dough onto prepared sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool slightly before drizzling with salted caramel sauce and sprinkling with flaky sea salt.
