  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season beef cubes with salt and pepper; toss with flour.
  2. Brown the beef in a skillet over medium-high heat and transfer to the slow cooker.
  3. Sauté onions, carrots, and garlic in the same skillet until onions are translucent; add to the slow cooker.
  4. Mix beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, and bay leaf; pour over ingredients in the slow cooker.
  5. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until beef is tender. Remove bay leaf before serving and garnish with parsley.
