- 10 ounces Oreo cookies (finely crushed)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1 (3.9-ounce) package chocolate instant pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter until well mixed. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust and chill for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and peppermint extract. Fold in whipped topping until fluffy and spread over the chilled crust.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract until thickened (about 2 minutes). Spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Top with remaining whipped topping and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings and fresh mint leaves before slicing into squares.
